Elected in May 2013, I have worked tirelessly on behalf of residents in Dereham and Scarning. I have campaigned to achieve County Wildlife Site Status for Neatherd Moor and Etling Green. Working with Dereham Town and Scarning Parish Councils, I have secured funding from the County Council’s Parish Partnership Scheme for local Highway improvements – including traffic calming measures, new footways and bus stop upgrades.
At County Hall, I have served on the Adult Social Care Committee and the Environment, Transport and Development Committee. I also represent Breckland on Norfolk’s Police and Crime Panel.
I live on the family farm at East Bilney. I was born and raised in Norfolk, educated at Neatherd High School and Dereham Sixth Form College and then read History at Newcastle University. I have helped to fund-raise for various charities including the Royal British Legion and the friends of Dereham Hospital.
