I have been the County Councillor for Necton and Launditch Division since 2009. I have lived in Litcham for 34 years with my wife Sally; we have 3 children who have all been educated locally. Iserved in the Royal Air Force at Marham and Swanton Morley leaving to take up a Ministry of Defence post as a project engineer. I have served on the board of governors of a local "outstanding" primary school for 17 years.
Over the last 8 years I have worked hard to ensure that the concerns and problems of local residents and Parish Councils are properly addressed by the County Council. I have advised and helped communities on matters as diverse as highway maintenance, footpath and public rights of way, flooding and minerals and waste planning. I will continue supporting rural businesses, communities and individuals so that future generations can live and work in a Norfolk that is strong and vibrant.
