I live at Fendyke Stables in Emneth. I am a Financial Adviser and my hobbies are my smallholding, my horses, reading and DIY.
I have been the County Councillor for Marshland South since 1993 and have had lead responsibilities on the County Council including Community Safety, Fire Service, Trading Standards, Emergency Planning, Finance and Performance.
I have worked with our MPs and councillors and council officers to improve and maintain Norfolk and local services and have addressed community and individual concerns about schools, social services, speeding, drainage, buses, roads, footways and safety issues which are brought to my attention.
My aims are to strengthen and improve confidence in our rural communities, to maintain and improve local services, improvement in our schools, improving road maintenance and safety, especially at junctions.
If re-elected I will continue to strive to see that services and resources are fairly allocated to our rural communities.
