I have lived locally with my family for over 22 years. I was elected to the County Council in 2009. I worked as a nursing sister at Guy’s Hospital, London., I became involved in local issues campaigning for the Long Stratton Bypass from 1997.
The design of the bypass is finally progressing but there is still work to do to ensure it delivers much needed improvements for local residents without detrimental impacts to outlying villages. Having first become involved in local politics to push forward the bypass I am determined to see the right scheme delivered for all.
I became Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group in 2015, and, since May 2016 have been Deputy Leader of the Council, with responsibility for finance. My priority is to ensure that the Council works on a sound financial footing whilst always making sure the needs of Norfolk residents come first.
